365 Days of Uptime on a Linksys router

by @ July 8, 2009. Filed under devices

I passed 365 days of uptime on my Linksys WRT54GL v1.1 router. It’s running DD-WRT firmware, and sits on a large APC UPS. Total data transfer on the router’s WAN port is reported at 1,570,619 MB down/ 79,832 MB up.

Cool. How do you like that firmware? I was thinking of installing openwrt on my 54GL.

DD-WRT is great. I have it running on 3 routers at home and around 10 at work. They’re stable, the web UI is simple, and they have tons of features. I only use a fraction of what they offer, mainly I wanted something stable.
